In 2016, our founder had a moment of clarity – and frustration. After working in the oil industry, where precision and control were second nature, he encountered a completely different reality in construction. Power outages, machine failures, and disorganization were dealt with reactively, with no real oversight. It was like playing football in the dark, hoping the ball would hit the goal. That’s when the idea of Naeva was born.

The name Naeva came after some late-night Googling – and some help from a partner. It supposedly means “born at night,” which is fitting, as many of the first solutions were created in the late hours. In 2018, we took the leap. With a team of dedicated founders and industry experts, we set an ambitious goal: to give construction sites the same seamless digital control found in the most advanced industries. The road to success? Anything but easy. But we never gave up.
